GEARS - Roadcraft course for female riders
GEARS is a road craft course designed for female riders. The course is open to women riders in the ACT and surrounding region.

GEARS is not an Advanced Skills Course or a Cornering and Braking Course. GEARS focus on roadcraft techniques eg buffering, positioning on the road, observations of hazards etc.

If you have been riding for at least 6 months and are keen to review your riding practices and techniques then do this course.

The course is for women only and covers:
Theory (why we do what we do)
Stationary assessments (posture)
Participant Ride (metro & rural)
Feedback and Review

We all need to be aware and responsive on the road. The course will raise your awareness of potential road hazards and help you develop strategies you can use everyday to maximise your safety on the road.
