The Ulysses Club is a club for motorcyclists over the age of 40 and has over 130 Branches, Australia wide.
Throughout the year, members raise the club banner at rallies and events around the country as a focal point where members and their friends can join in good companionship.
Any lady or gentleman who is over the age of 40, and who holds a current motorcycle licence, or who is a regular partner of such a person, and over 40, is eligible to join. Until you reach the grand old age of 50, you will be a "junior" member, but with full membership rights and privileges. It's just that you might have to help some of the "seniors" off their machines sometime!
The Forster Branch was formed in 2003 to provide some locally based social activities for Ulysses members in Forster, Tuncurry, Taree and surrounding areas.
Monthly Meeting and Social Night is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each Month at Tuncurry Bowling Club, 21 Parkes St, Tuncurry at 7.30pm.
The Bowling Club is located towards the lakes entrance from the roundabout at Wallis St and if you would like to join us for a meal, then arriving around 6:30pm is suggested.
There are organised rides every weekend, an overnighter about once a month and midweek rides for the members with too much time on their hands.
Forster is a very community spirited town, with volunteer organisations covering just about every aspect of living in the area. The Forster branch has joined in and is involved in several community activities including the Forster Ironman Triathlon, the local Toy Run, and others.
Forster is a well known holiday spot, and a popular ride destination. If you are a Ulysses member and your Branch is planning a ride to Forster or even if you want to come for a holiday by yourself, give us a call, we may be able to help you organise your stay.
