Last weekend (28/29 June) was a very social one for the Limestone Coast Ulyssians.
Friday nights dinner at the Western Tavern was a lot of fun, and after, everybody came around to Meredith & Steve's house to visit Steve.
He has been laid up on the couch since his operation (Achilles Tendon for those who haven’t caught up on the news).
Latest news is he will be in plaster for another 4 weeks.
We also welcomed Murray from the Mallee, who is a friend of Chris and Coralie.  He thoroughly enjoyed our company (I think !!!)
Sunday was very chilly, however that never deterred 18 Riders from going on an impromptu trip to the Rocks Tavern for lunch.

Pizza & Pasta Night Photos

Our inaugral Pizza & Pasta night Friday 30 May at the Cosmopolitan Pizza cafe was a great success. Dario was a great host, his food was very tasty, and the service efficient. There were a lot of positive comments. I think we will be doing it again.

Sorry about the photo quality, must have been the Red Wine.

Some books worth reading:

Twisted Throttle -A very amusing story of a Kiwi who travelled around Australia on a V-Strom in 35 days.

Not all ringers are cowboys - An intrepid bloke who spent two years riding around Australia recording stories for the ABC.

Two for the Road - A husband and wife travel two up from London to Sydney. She is a journalist and he is a Victorian policeman.

Dreaming of Jupiter -At the age of 69, Ted Simon repeats a ride around the world he did in 1973. His first ride is the subject of his first book, "Jupiter's Travel's"
