GULGONG
WEEKEND 25 to 27 APRIL, 2008 Well, everything is in place for an outstanding weekend at Gulgong.

of Wales Opera House, Gulgong The Opera House has been booked for the dinner/show and we have been invited to display our bikes at the ‘Wings, Wheels & Wine’ Show at Mudgee Airport on the Saturday which gives riders free entry to the Show.
We need to know ASAP who/how many are going, so we request that each person put $40.00 up front for the dinner/show at our next meeting with final payments by or at our February meeting. Ride to Singleton for morning tea at Maccas: 10am - 10.40am. Then onto Merriwa R.S.L. Club for lunch: 12pm - 1pm. Ride to your accommodation at Gulgong, arriving about 2.30pm. Then fellowship/shopping at leisure. We will make a group booking for dinner at a venue yet to be arranged. Saturday: Breakfast at the ‘HARLEY’ Bakery & Takeaway, Herbert St, Gulgong. Buffet style full breakfast. About $8.00 per head: 8am – 10am. Depart from Café as a group at 10.00am, then ride to Mudgee Airport to attend annual ‘WINGS, WHEELS & WINE’ festival 11am – 4pm. Bikes to be put on display with Mudgee Ulyssians. Entry is free for riders. Possibly $12.00 for pillions and non-riders. After Air Display return to Gulgong. Dinner/Show at Gulgong Opera House ($40 p/p). 6.30pm for 7pm. BYO all drinks. (need minimum of 40 people) Sunday: Breakfast same place at Saturday morning: 7.30am – 9.00am Morning tea at Merriwa Cakes/Pasties (Bakery) 10.20am – 11am Lunch at Caledonian Hotel, Singleton for Lunch: 12.15pm – 1.30pm Debriefing at Junction Inn Hotel, Raymond Terrace. About $76-80 p/n. Outside of motel premises very untidy. No T.L.C. Just outside of town area – 1.1 km walk or ride into town. Henry Lawson Caravan Park. On Mudgee Rd.
