Illawarra Sky Walk
John & Margaret French
After a short run from our
breakfast stop
at
we stopped at Robertson
pie shop for morning tea.
Once
the tanks were topped up
again
we
headed to the Illawarra Sky Walk. Weather was warm for a winter’s
morning. After paying our money we headed off down the track to the
Sky Walk for some great views of the coast
and Wollongong.
Some people enjoyed
the heights more than others. We spent approximately 1 hour enjoying
the views then headed back up the track just in time to miss the rain
which was settling in. A decision was made to head to the Mittagong
RSL club for lunch and a leisurely afternoon.
Luckily we were
not on the road in the afternoon as snow fell to round off the day.
