At the AGM in Lismore the proposal to accept the new constitution was withdrawn after much discussion.
The National Committee has taken on board the suggestion to establish a new Constitution Review Committee that will consider all legislation, NSW Fair Trading requirements, as well as submissions from the past Constitutional Review Committee, NatCom and members.
The National Committee is now calling for expressions of interest from members to sit on this committee. The committee will consist of 5-7 members including the chair. Up to 2 of these members will be representatives from the National Committee.
